Pakistan Cuisine

Pakistani cuisine is as diverse as it's people. Most of the Pakistani food has both Afghan and Iranian roots in it, which was caused by the Muslim rule in South Asia. Depending on the region you come from the food is going to be different. The cuisines are a blend from both the western and eastern neighbors of Pakistan, but have their own unique characteristics too them. The Punjabis' and Sindhis' use a lot of spices in their foods, while Pushtans and Baluchese got a lot of their cuisines from Afghanistan. Weat and other flour products are a major part of the Pakistani diet. One main food from this diet is the chapati, which is an unleavened bread made from whole wheat flour. Meat is another main part of the their diet, while vegetables and beans are just as important.
From what i read that Pakistani Cuisine has its own very unique style to it. They use a lot of the same types of food to prepare their dishes, but their use of spices changes everything. They use a numerous amounts of spices ranging from very hot/spicy to mild. A lot of their dishes the very hot/spicy to preferred. These spices, herbs, and seeds are what makes the dishes go from being an ordinary staple food to a very exotic dish. I believe many people have that prespective that foods from South Asia are very spicy or use some sort of spice to give the food a certain flavour.
